The Office of Citizen Exchanges (USA) invites proposal submissions for the 2021 TechWomen program to empower the next generation of women leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The exchange program uses a mentorship model to support emerging STEM leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Central Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa. Organizations applying for this award should demonstrate the capacity to recruit, select, and place a total of approximately 110 women in a 5-6 week peer-mentoring program in the United States. The award of US$3 million will cover all program logistics and overseas follow-on programming. Eligibility to apply for the implementation award of the program extends to U.S. nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education. The application deadline is 21 January 2021.
